After the shafts have been backfilled, the so-called \"surface facilities\" will be dismantled as part of the final operating plan procedure under mining law. This involves the selective dismantling or demolition of more than 20 buildings and other technical facilities at the Prosper II mine site in Bottrop. After comprehensive clearing, gutting and pollutant clean-up of the individual buildings, the mechanical demolition of the buildings with a total BRI of approx. 242,000 m\u00b3 was carried out.
