Description

Project description: As the last of once almost 150 coal mines in the Ruhr region, the "Prosper Haniel" mine was closed at the end of 2018. After the shafts have been backfilled, the so-called "surface facilities" will be dismantled as part of the final operating plan procedure under mining law. This involves the selective dismantling or demolition of more than 20 buildings and other technical facilities at the Prosper II mine site in Bottrop. After comprehensive clearing, gutting and pollutant clean-up of the individual buildings, the mechanical demolition of the buildings with a total BRI of approx. 242,000 m³ was carried out. In the course of the project, a total of approx. 40,000 m³ of construction waste was produced, which was processed into recycling material on site.

Our services: Preparation of tender documents for the deconstruction of various buildings, construction supervision of the overall measure.

Term: Since February 2020, expected until the end of 2023
