Hall and administration building in Dortmund harbour

Project details

Project description: The area of the northern Speicherstraße in Dortmund harbour is to be redeveloped in terms of urban development in order to create a modern environment for offices and trade, which also bundles the new digital areas of logistics and ancillary trades close to the harbour. In a first project phase, this required the demolition of a multi-storey administration building (approx. 10,000 m³ BRI) and an adjacent hall complex (approx. 425,000 m³ BRI, approx. 3,000 tonnes of steel). The deconstruction of the hall complex was carried out as a selective dismantling, as two central hall aisles were to be retained for subsequent use due to architectural aspects.

Our services: Technical investigation of the structures, preparation of deconstruction, remediation and disposal concepts, preparation of tender documents, construction supervision / expert monitoring of the overall measure.
